KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG (Tuttlingen, Germany) is presenting Rubina, its latest imaging technology that checks every box for what a high-end camera system needs to deliver, at the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress taking place from 30 January – 2 February 2023 at the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Center.

Rubina is a game-changing technology that is a modular add-on to the IMAGE1 S system from KARL STORZ. The IMAGE1 S Rubina endosurgical visualization system combines state-of-the-art 4K resolution with enhanced fluorescence-guided imaging. The system uses unique and proprietary dual-4K sensors and dual-LED light technology to toggle seamlessly between white-light and fluorescence modes, without the lag or mismatched frames that are common with alternative technologies. Rubina’s unparalleled image relies on a modular camera platform that can cater for rigid endoscopy, flexible endoscopy, hybrid endoscopy combining both rigid and flexible, white-light endoscopy, and fluorescence-guided endoscopy. Be it the 4K image, 10-bit camera head sensor, S-modes, 3D mode, and NIR/ICG light-induced fluorescence, these technologies translate into a high-resolution endoscopy image with a realistic color reproduction, digitally enhanced image, depth perception with 3D, and an extended visualization of anatomical structures in NIR/ICG mode.
