Progetti S.r.l. (Trofarello, Italy) is exhibiting its range of automatic external defibrillators and biphasic defibrillator monitors at this year's MEDICA, the world's largest annual medical technology trade fair, which is taking place from 14-17 November in Düsseldorf, Germany.

At this year’s edition of MEDICA, Progetti is exhibiting the Rescue Life 9 professional defibrillator designed to meet the needs of modern emergency medicine. Rescue Life 9 offers an impact-proof larger TFT LCD color 8.4" display, backup operation of up to 11 hours of continuous use with two batteries and different product configurations. Individuals can choose from basic to fully equipped models among the available options: up to 12 leads ECG monitoring, AED & advisory working mode, external pacemaker, pulse oximeter, EtCO2, temperature and non-invasive blood pressure. Its auto-test mode allows users to verify the proper functions of the device, battery status and charge-discharge system with the possibility of real time data management and report printing.

Progetti is also exhibiting its new advanced defibrillator, RESCUE SAM 4.0D which optimizes the analysis time for detecting the rhythm that can be defibrillated and rapid energy charge. RESCUE SAM 4.0D has a 7 inch color LCD display, showing prompts to the operator and a clear ECG waveform during the rescue. It features an integrated compartment for pre-connected pads and an ergonomic design with side handles. It comes with a revised analysis system that works continuously on four different algorithms, deleting disturbances and external noises during ECG to grant one of the highest quality ECG signals in the market.

In addition, Progetti is exhibiting its PG S series of patient monitors that are designed to be used for monitoring, visualization, revision, storage and equipped with alarms related to the physiological parameters of patients, including ECG, heart rate (HR), respiration rate (RR), temperature (Temp), Saturation of oxygen (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), carbon dioxide (CO2), anesthetic gases (AG), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure (IBP), cardiac output (CO). Visitors to the Progetti booth at MEDICA 2022 can also experience the PG V5000D ICU ventilator that offers various ventilation modes, 15-inch color LCD, touch-screen setting, big front display, free changeable angles of views, alongside the PG VENT intensive care ventilator which provides excellent non-invasive and invasive ventilation, including O2 therapies.

Other products being exhibited by Progetti at MEDICA 2022 include the PG-807i volumetric infusion pump with a high brightness LCD TFT 4.3-inch touch screen display and user-friendly menu, and the PG-907s syringe pump with a high brightness LCD 4.3-inch touch-screen display and user friendly interface. Also on display is the PG OTI-ONE series of operation tables with a stainless steel structure and slow rebound latex foam mattress, the PG EYES series of lighting system that offers shadowless LED lighting for the surgical field, and the PG NEST neonatal incubator with a quiet air circuit supplies and comfortable ambient for reducing external noise.
