The 32nd Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2016; Seoul, Republic of Korea) will offer participants the chance to identify and confirm future prospects of the medical industry.

Set once again to attract over 70,000 visitors, KIMES 2016 will offer the estimated 1,200 domestic and overseas companies that will participate in the exhibition the chance to present over 30,000 new and existing products to officials representing medical institutions, academia, industry, research institutions, and hospitals, as well as to individual participants such as oriental doctors, veterinarians, dentists, nurses, radiologists, physical therapists, medical laboratory technologists, pharmacists, and emergency medical services (EMS) technicians.

The range of exhibits this year is expected to expand to include consultation, diagnosis central supply, clinical examination, hospital accommodation, emergency equipment, radiology, medical information system, surgical apparatus, oriental medicine, cure apparatus, pharmaceutical supplies, physiotherapy apparatus, obesity cure, healthcare devices, ophthalmic apparatus, medical device components, medical services, dental supplies and apparatus, disposables, and other markets.

Since the first KIMES show was held in 1980, with just 32 exhibitors, the show has grown in tandem with the Korean medical and healthcare industry, and was chosen by the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy as one of the “Global Top Exhibitions in Korea” for seven years in a row. The rising number of foreign exhibitors is symbolic of the growing interest by foreign medical companies in the Korean and neighboring countries market has prompted government sponsorship and support.
