AVer Europe (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) is exhibiting its Connected Health Solutions at MEDICA, the world’s largest event for the medical sector, in Düsseldorf, Germany between 14th and 17th November.

With a patient centric design and the intention of reducing costs for healthcare systems, AVer’s MD330U camera features the world’s first detachable 4K 8MP handheld camera head to perform patient assessments accurately. A first in the industry, the removable camera head makes 360-degree angle close-up shooting and snapshots possible. During the pandemic, AVer’s PTZ cameras were used in the intensive care units of a Taiwanese hospital. AVer’s solutions enabled medical staff to monitor the physiological symptoms of patients remotely, reducing unnecessary entries into patients’ wards and minimizing the overall risk of infection. The AI Acoustics embedded on the integrated microphones and speakers provided seamless two-way communication between patients, physicians and even family members from outside the hospital.

“We’re pleased to be showcasing our telemedical solutions at this year’s MEDICA Expo,” said Rene Buhay, SVP Sales & Marketing for Aver Europe. “AVer’s Connected Health Solutions are at the forefront of a global initiative by healthcare organizations to enable medical practitioners to revolutionize the delivery of cost-effective quality healthcare services to patients.”
