Famed Żywiec (Żywiec, Poland) is showcasing its wide range of operating tables, hospital beds, delivery beds, gynecological chairs, and patient transport carts at Arab Health 2024 held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 29 January to 1 February 2024.

At the 49th edition of Arab Health, Famed is premiering its new and revolutionary control system for its surgical operating tables that increase the precision of movements to an unprecedented degree. The new control system allows Famed’s electro-hydraulic table to respond to the user’s commands in a fraction of a second and adjust the position of the tabletop with an accuracy of up to 1 mm or 0.1°. Famed is also presenting its OPTIMA range of operating tables that offers various options and functionalities such as remote control, electric lock, modular design, maximum load capacity of 460 kg, tabletop, and housing made out of carbon fiber for optimized usage in every field of surgery. Designed for precise surgery, OPTIMA provides a full range of positioning with a low minimum height (550 mm – variant 5.20) combined with extreme lateral and longitudinal tilt. It also features emergency control systems that allow the work to be continued even in case of failure or power failure.

In addition, Famed is showcasing its ArtHero shoulder arthroscopy system that meets the diverse needs of surgeons and surgical instrument technicians. Famed ArtHero streamlines the work of medical personnel, expediting preparation for surgery and patient positioning. Also being highlighted at the show is the Famed NANO hospital bed with a patient weight measurement system that works perfectly in intensive care units and patient rooms. The scale provides values with an accuracy of 100 grams, enabling the assessment of certain health parameters of patients in intensive care. Visitors to the Famed booth at this year’s Arab Health can also experience FREYA, a unique product that combines the features of a delivery bed and a hospital bed. With independent control systems and a wide portfolio of additional accessories, Famed FREYA can transform into a bed or delivery chair in a matter of seconds, accompanying the expectant mother at every stage of childbirth.
