New Tablet Platform Extends Stroke Neurorehabilitation Beyond the Clinic

Hospitals and outpatient programs therefore need scalable approaches that extend structured rehabilitation beyond the clinic while maintaining clinician oversight. A new tablet-delivered system is expected to bring full-body neurorehabilitation into patients’ homes by the end of 2026.

MindMaze Therapeutics (Lausanne, Switzerland) announced MindMotion Lite, a tablet-based extension of its MindMotion platform, with availability expected by year‑end 2026. Purpose-built for home use, the system is intended to broaden access to intensive neurorehabilitation outside the clinic. The announcement marks a key step in scaling the company’s neurotherapeutics platform.

MindMotion Lite delivers the full range of neurotherapeutic activities available on MindMotion GO through a tablet, substantially reducing in‑home hardware requirements. While simplifying deployment, it retains full‑body rehabilitation capabilities designed to engage patients in intensive training. Integrated teleconsultation and remote management features enable clinicians to monitor progress and support therapy beyond the clinic.

The tablet format is designed to enhance patient experience and streamline distribution across the continuum of care. Compared with MindMotion GO, it aims to reduce home deployment costs and support a more scalable, capital‑efficient expansion of the company’s home‑based offering. The company will preview MindMotion Lite at upcoming clinical, healthcare and investor conferences, with additional details on commercial availability and launch markets to be shared closer to release.

The solution complements a platform that combines therapeutic software, sensors and specialized hardware spanning inpatient, outpatient and home‑based neurorehabilitation. The approach is geared to maintain continuity of care as patients transition beyond the clinic. The company also highlights integration with its existing suite and eligibility under established reimbursement codes.
