Cardiac Test Extended to Near-Patient Setting

This portfolio provides laboratories with cardiac test menus across multiple platforms. The cardiac-specific high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) test has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for both risk assessment of future cardiovascular disease and risk stratification of recurrent events.

The cardiac-specific CardioPhase hsCRP launched on the Stratus CS acute care system, a near-patient-setting instrument, offers a menu of seven tests. The menu includes: N-terminal-proB-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), high sensitivity Troponin I, D-dimer, myoglobin, mass MB isoenzyme of creatinine kinase (CK-MB), beta human chorionic gonadotropin (BetahcG), and CardioPhase hsCRP.
