Collaboration Initiated to Streamline Importing, Storing Prior Imaging Studies

A new partnership has been established to help imaging picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) users overcome problems related to importing and storing patients’ earlier exams.

Intelerad Medical Systems (Montreal, Canada), a developer of medical imaging picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), radiology information systems (RIS), and workflow solutions, has initiated a collaboration that will provide its global customer base with the OneDX Patient CD Upload solution, developed by the New Medical Product Server (Stratford, CT, USA).

Designed to overcome the challenges associated with importing foreign exams, the solution provides users with an intuitive interface that enables them to rapidly upload patient images from a compact disc, modify Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) headers, and then transfer the images to IntelePACS.
