Toshiba America Medical Systems manufactures radiology and cardiovascular systems, including Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), X-Ray, ultrasound, and cardiovascular equipment, and provides clinical diagnostic imaging research services.

According to Frost & Sullivan, Toshiba has adopted a new value-based business model that enables customers to use their vendor as a growth partner. This new partnership approach benefits Toshiba’s customers, and provides a sales outlet for its premium products and technologies. The award recognizes Toshiba for excellence in growth strategy and implementation, a high degree of product and technology innovation, and leadership.

Frost & Sullivan Industry Principal Nadim Daher, said, "Toshiba's move toward establishing value as the foundation of the organization is a massive undertaking, involving the restructuring, training and education of internal teams across business units—all the way from R&D to customer support. The company has acknowledged value as a Mega Trend and has prioritized aligning its business model with the evolution of customers' purchasing processes. Importantly, Toshiba's brand equity is rising in the marketplace among both departmental and enterprise-level customers, thereby encompassing various stakeholders in large-scale medical imaging investments.
