Compression Foam Facilitates Liposuction Care

Patient comfort is achieved by using advanced, soft, small cell, polyurethane materials to create the compression barrier between the patient's skin and the postoperative garment. The unique silicone-gel surface provides a gentle adherent interface that helps avoid the problems associated with more aggressively adherent foam pads.

Liposuction compression garments are recommended by surgeons to reduce swelling and improve appearance of the treatment site. The Epi-Foam polyurethane foam provides for exceptional conformance to three-dimensional (3D) contours such as hips, waist, thighs, and chins; improved compression distribution assistance in smoothing the skin and helping to reduce the "wavering" or "rippling" effect frequently associated with liposuction; and reducing postoperative bruising and swelling.
