Partnership to Provide RIS with PACS Interfaces

Furthermore, other features of this RIS include a billing component, voice recognition capabilities, dictation, enterprise reports, and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) interfaces.

InStar Systems International, Inc. (Colorado Springs, CO, USA), a provider of a range of radiology practice management systems for the diagnostic imaging industry, has entered into an agreement with Texas Healthcare Network (THN; Austin, TX, USA) for the provision of the RIS. Under the agreement, THN, which provides an array of technologies to healthcare organizations with less than 200 beds in Texas, will make InStar's RIS available to its member base. This will enable more than 50 member organizations covered under the THN umbrella to easily access InStar's RIS, as needed, through a co-op of information technology services offered through THN.

Its robust features include exceptional functionality and total ease of use. It also easily integrates with other PACS and health information systems we offer, which all contribute to lower implementation costs for our members.
