Ampronix, Inc. More...
(Irvine, CA, USA), has entered into a distribution agreement with Siemens Energy and Automation, Inc. (Alpharetta, GA). Effective immediately, Ampronix will begin carrying the Siemens Display Technologies line of medical imaging cathode ray tube (CRT) and liquid crystal display (LCD) systems.

"Ampronix customers have a need for the specialty imaging products that Siemens offers,” said Nausser Fathollahi, president of Ampronix. "The focus will be to promote the advantages of Siemens displays throughout our customer base and dealer network, while working closely with the Siemens DT [Display Technologies] product management, marketing, and sales team to capture strategic end-user accounts.”

Ampronix develops peripheral hardware systems, from the newest technology to repairing or upgrading the oldest technology. "Ampronix offers Siemens access to an extensive dealer network and user base, which has tremendous growth potential,” said Christine Seymour, business unit manager for Siemens Display Technologies in North America. "This is a step towards greater access to Siemens products and realizing the growth targets we have set.”

The two companies will focus their efforts on increasing the presence of Siemens Display Technologies in North America through a concentrated co-marketing and distribution plan.

Ampronix provides "suite solutions” for imaging needs, digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) connectivity, analog to digital conversions, picture archiving and communications system (PACS) integration peripherals, and clinical and diagnostic workstations.
