Under a recently announced agreement, Dade Behring (Deerfield, IL, USA) and Diagnostic Products Company (DPC, Los Angeles, CA, USA) will enable Dade's StreamLAB workcell customers to extend their instrument's connectivity and expand its capabilities by integrating DPC's Immulite 2000 and 2500 systems within the workcell.

Integration of the Immulite systems into the StreamLAB workcell also helps to provide labor-efficient workflow management from a single operator interface. Intelligent sample routing optimizes throughput and turnaround time.

"Our automation philosophy involves individualized solutions reflecting unique customer needs,” said Jim Reid-Anderson, chairman, president, and CEO, Dade Behring. "That is exactly what this arrangement will provide. It's an agreement in which everyone benefits, including the patients.”
