Rapid Test for H Pylori

HpSA (specific antigen), is designed to enable doctors to quickly diagnose, treat, and monitor successful eradication of an H pylori infection. H pylori is the primary cause of stomach ulcers and is also recognized as a direct cause of stomach cancer.

The test is the product of Meridian Bioscience, Inc. (Cincinnati, OH, USA), a life sciences company that manufactures and markets a broad range of diagnostic test kits and reagents.

"The early acceptance of the ImmunoCard STAT HpSA test from our customers and distribution partners has been very positive,” said Antonio Interno, senior vice president, managing director, Meridian Bioscience Europe. The company markets another test for H pylori that is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) called Premier Platinum HpSA.
