Siemens Medical Solutions, Inc. More...
(Erlangen, Germany) has recently announced agreements with Novation (Irving, Tx, USA), the supply company of VHA, Inc. (Irving, TX, USA) and the University Health System Consortium (UHC), whereby Siemens will provide value on a broad range of imaging systems to meet the needs of these facilities. These three-year contracts signify continued growth in the relationship between these organizations.

"With our long-standing relationship and emphasis on customer service, we can provide exceptional value and benefit to Novation, and the VHA and UHC members it serves,” said Robert Miller, vice president, Strategic/National Accounts, Siemens Medical Solutions. "Through these contracts we are able to offer value on high-end, high-quality imaging solutions to patients at a wide consortium of healthcare facilities.”

The contracts include dual-source agreements for computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), x-ray technologies, and multi-source agreements for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound.

"The bottom line within healthcare today is to provide the best solutions at the right time and place,” said Larry Dooley, vice president, Contract and Program Services, Novation. "Having Siemens as part of the mix we offer to our members allows us to provide access to critical, high-quality, and cost-effective equipment. We look forward to the continued relationship with Siemens.”
