Terason (Burlington, MA, USA; www.terason.com), a leading developer of high-performance laptop ultrasound imaging systems, has signed a distribution agreement for the European market with Aloka Holding Europe AG (Tokyo, Japan; www.aloka.com), a leading manufacturer and distributor of ultrasound systems. The agreement names Aloka as Terason's exclusive European distributor for the Terason t3000 ultrasound system. "The same attributes that make Terason ultrasound systems popular with a wide range of clinical specialties in the U.S. and Asia--superior image quality, mobility, and connectivity--make our systems ideal for a broad range of European markets as well,” said Alice Chiang, Ph.D., Teratech president and CEO. "Aloka, with decades of successful experience in the European ultrasound market, is a natural distribution choice. This agreement is an important step to increase our momentum in the European market.”

"We are pleased to be associated with the exciting new technology that Terason has developed, and to have been selected to introduce Terason's Windows-based compact, convertible t3000 ultrasound system to the European market,” said Dr. Stephan Suwald, president, Aloka Holding Europe AG. "We look forward to putting this innovative technology into the hands of clinicians throughout Europe.”
