Posted on 11 Jul 2011
The latest advances in remote diagnostics, telemedicine, and care and wellness will be spotlighted in the wireless health pavilion at Medica 2011, International Trade Fair and Congress. More...
The pavilion, which made its debut at Medica 2010, is organized in conjunction with CTIA, the wireless association (Washington DC, USA) and founding partner Qualcomm (San Diego, CA, USA,).

The pavilion aims to highlight the expanding global mobile health market, which was estimated at about $60 billion in 2010. Today, governments, mobile operators, hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers are all seeking ways to improve healthcare, keep costs down, and drive growth. Wireless healthcare will pave the way for this by meeting the needs of the almost 5 billion mobile phone users worldwide.
Medica 2011 will take place from November 16-19, 2011, at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
