Delft Increases Holding in Rogan Medical Systems

By HospiMedica staff writers
Posted on 14 Jan 2002
Noting that the market for PACS is showing strong growth, Delft Instruments (The Netherlands) has increased its interest in Rogan Medical Systems B.V. More...
(Zeist, The Netherlands) from 52% to 70%. Rogan develops software for PACS.

Rogan's latest product combines the everything-on-line (EOL) concept with a Multiple Archive Storage Server (MASS), allowing radiologic studies to be delivered many times faster. The EOL concept enables all image material required by doctors, nursing, and support staff to be accessed instantly at all times and at all workstations. This represents an advance over existing systems, where users have to make a choice of which images are displayed at what time and at which workstation.

Rogan Medical Systems is also collaborating with two other Delft Instrument companies, Nucletron B.V. (on radiotherapy and thorax imaging) and Oldelft Benelux B.V. (on distribution and maintenance of medical capital equipment). Distributors have installed Rogan products this year in Germany, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States.
