Seattle to Host Meeting of Emergency Doctors

The 2002 Scientific Assembly of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP; Dallas, TX) will be held October 6-9, 2002, in Seattle, WA (USA). More...
Hundreds of courses will be offered on the latest clinical innovations in the specialty of emergency medicine, while doctors debate the latest controversies and discuss the growing crisis of overcrowding in emergency departments.

The program will include courses on such topics as the role of emergency doctors in terrorism response and how to protect patient medical records. More than 375 presentations of groundbreaking emergency medicine research will be introduced during the Research Forum. A session called "Cutting-Edge Emergency Medicine” will have a panel of experts to discuss abstracts with the most significant implications for the practice of emergency medicine.
