Parker Laboratories Inc. (Fairfield, NJ, USA) is showcasing its wide range of ultrasound and electromedical contact media, as well as leading lines of institutional cleaners and disinfectants at MEDICA 2022. More than 5,000 exhibitors from 70 countries are presenting their newest products and ideas at MEDICA which draws 120,000 trade visitors from over 170 countries every year.

At this year’s edition of MEDICA, Parker is showcasing Aquasonic 100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel, which is the most widely used gel for diagnostic and therapeutic medical ultrasound. Aquasonic 100 ultrasound transmission gel is recommended for all procedures where a viscous gel is required and is also available in sterile single use overwrapped foil pouches. Sterile Aquasonic 100 is recommended for diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound applications when sterility is indicated. Among its other ultrasound and electromedical contact media being presented at the event is the company’s Aquasonic CLEAR Ultrasound Gel which is based on the same "can't be copied" formula of the Aquasonic 100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel, and has no fragrance or color.

In addition, Parker is exhibiting its Protex Disinfectant Spray which is a one-step cleaner/disinfectant that is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including MRSA, HIV, Staph and many others. It is used for disinfecting ultrasound transducers, probes, mammography-compressor plates, as well as for use on vinyl exam tables and athletic mats, counter tops, exercise equipment and other hard nonporous, non-critical surfaces. Visitors to Parker’s booth at MEDICA 2022 can also experience Protex ULTRA, a powerful, one-step cleaner/disinfectant that starts killing on contact, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria in 15 seconds and disinfecting in just four minutes. Protex ULTRA is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including HIV, H1N1, MRSA, and many others. In addition to medical and dental offices, emergency vehicles, hospitals, exercise facilities and locker rooms, Protex ULTRA is also useful in disinfecting ultrasound transducers and probes, mammography compressor plates, vinyl exam tables, countertops, and other hard, nonporous, non-critical surfaces.
