By HospiMedica staff writers
Posted on 30 Jan 2002
A mobile integrated endoscopic visualization system has been launched that comprises a high-quality camera, a high-efficiency light source, and a liquid crystal display (LCD) flat-panel monitor. More...

The system combines portability with the latest imaging and display technology to provide an all-in-one endoscopic solution, says the developer, Smith & Nephew Endoscopy (Andover, MA, USA). The new system, called Dyonics Vision 111, is designed for outpatient surgical centers and office-based practices that are hampered by the size and cost of traditional visualization equipment.

"We're committed to developing best-in-class visualization systems for surgeons, whether they practice in a hospital, surgery center, or office-based setting,” said Ron Sparks, president, Smith & Nephew Endoscopy.
