Surgeons to Hold Congress in San Francisco

The 88th Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons (ACS, Chicago, IL, USA) will be held October 6-10, 2002, in San Francisco, CA (USA). More...
The event will feature 30 postgraduate courses, more than 150 hours of general and specialty sessions, and hundreds of scientific and technical exhibits. The Surgical Forum, a three-day presentation featuring more than 300 research-in-progress reports, is another highlight of the meeting.

The congress will offer timely programs and sessions on such topics as: The Surgeon and Biotech Revolution; Stem Cells in Clinical Practice; and Unconventional Acts of Civilian Terrorism: Likely Agents and Strategies for Preparedness. More details and the preliminary program are available on the ACS website (www.facs.org/2002clincon). Updated program information will continually be posted until the meeting begins.
