Unicondylar knees are a rapidly growing segment of the knee arthroplasty market and are becoming more popular because of the growing demand for minimally invasive procedures. Link's SLED knee prosthesis was documented in a 2002 Swedish Knee Arthroplasty Register as the top-performing unicondylar knee prosthesis with respect to long-term clinical outcomes. Exactech, Inc. (Gainesville, FL, USA) is the exclusive distributor for Link in North America.

"The MITUS instrument set is our first product launched specifically for less-invasive procedures and represents a significant step forward in our commitment to improving patient outcomes,” said David Petty, executive vice president of Exactech. "The femoral and tibial instrumentation are bone-conserving and easy to use, and designed to promote consistent, reproducible results.”
