Hospital Connectivity Suite Integrates Patient Data

This conversion enables easier integration with many types of healthcare information systems applications. DataCaptor device interfaces (DDIs) support the integration of information from all medical devices into a common data "bank”. An independent medical device connectivity middleware engine features one of the largest device interface libraries in the world, supporting over 330 different types of medical devices, such as patient monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps.

The DataCaptor connectivity suite was developed by CapsuleTech (Paris, France), which received the Frost & Sullivan (Palo Alto, CA, USA), an international growth consultancy company, 2006 Enabling Technology of the Year award in the patient monitoring medical technology industry for the device, at an awards ceremony held in London (UK) in February 2007.
