Global Technology Alliance on Oximetry

According to a new global alliance, Spacelabs Medical (Issaquah, WA, USA) will offer the OxiMax pulse oximetry technology of Nellcor (Pleasanton, CA, USA) as an integrated part of the Spacelabs UltraviewSL patient monitoring products.

Nellcor's OxiMax advanced digital signal-processing technology is designed to conquer difficult monitoring challenges and perform with greater accuracy than conventional oximetry, even for difficult-to-monitor patients. More...
Nellcor is a business segment of Tyco International Ltd.

Spacelabs Medical is a global manufacturer and distributor of patient-monitoring systems for critical care and anesthesia, wired and wireless networks, and clinical information connectivity solutions. The company has an installed base of about 100,000 patient-monitoring units worldwide.
