MAVIG GmbH (Munich, Germany) was amongst the 4,500 exhibitors from 70 countries that presented their products and services at the MEDICA 2019 Trade Fair held in Düsseldorf, Germany from 18-21st November. MEDICA is the world's largest medical trade fair for medical technology, electromedical equipment, laboratory equipment, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. MEDICA provides the medical device industry with a central market for innovative products and systems that result in an important contribution to the efficiency and quality of patient care. The combination of product shows with international congresses, forums, as well as expert workshops, and the exchange of professional views make MEDICA a meeting point for international professionals from various fields in the medical sector.

MAVIG offers personal protective equipment used in hospitals and medical practice. Its product range includes ceiling suspended and table mounted X-ray protective systems, mobile shields, suspension systems for e.g. monitors and lamps, radiation protective observation windows and curtains as well as personal protective equipment and accessories. MAVIG also develops and distributes the world’s first applicable confocal laser scan microscope – VivaScope – which is the first system to allow for an “in vivo” optical biopsy in real time.

At MEDICA 2019, MAVIG showcased its product range of X-ray protective clothing and suspension systems for medical equipment. MAVIG’s X-ray protective products for the radiation user showcased at the event included all-round protection apron models, front protective aprons and additional/supplementary PPE X-ray protective products, such as head protection, eye protection glasses and visors, thyroid protection and protective gloves.
