Monocyte and Macrophage Activation Measured in Biologic Fluids

An enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA) kit has been developed to measure monocyte and macrophage activation in biologic fluids.

The Macro163 (soluble) sCD ELISA kit is a product of IQ Products (Groningen, the Netherlands) and Trillium Diagnostics (Brewer, ME, USA). More...
Co-developed by the two companies the measures the amount of sCD levels in body fluids. sCD163 is a marker that enables quantification of monocyte and macrophage activation. IQ Products will market the Macro163 kit through its international sales and distribution network. Trillium will be responsible for the marketing and sales in North America.
