New Wireless Low-Oxygen Alarm

The new wireless product expands applications to include not only hospitals but also military and government agencies, according to Ingen Technologies, Inc. (Calimesa, CA, USA), which developed and marketed the forerunner alarm system, called BAFI.

BAFI, a patented medical safety device, is configured for removable mounting in combination with high-pressure gas cylinder and regulators used to regulate the gas supplied by medical remote oxygen delivery cylinders. A warning device alerts the user when oxygen levels drop below the safe level of the oxygen cylinder.

The new model will be not only wireless but smaller and more compact, states Ingen. "This is an exciting time for Ingen and its shareholders,” said Scott Sand, CEO of Ingen Technologies.
