Kodak Wins Customer Service Award

Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group (Rochester, NY, USA) has been awarded the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Service Leadership. More...
The Award recognizes Kodak for its Healthcare Solutions Services offering within the European PACS Professional Services Market.

Frost & Sullivan (Palo Alto, CA, USA), a global growth consulting and training company, determines recipients of the annual award by conducting customer surveys, extensive secondary research, and interviews with major market participants on an ongoing basis. Candidate recipients must excel in: value-added promotional support; providing value-added technology and services; responsiveness to customer needs; time to market; and monitoring and addressing customer feedback.

"Its comprehensive portfolio of services has clearly differentiated Kodak in the European PACS [picture archiving communications system] and professional services market,” said Martin Bryant, healthcare research analyst at Frost and Sullivan. "End-users have shown great confidence in Kodak to provide everything from workflow, project and change management, right through to financial analysis of the provider institution they are servicing. This has ensured that radiologists and IT [information technology] coordinators alike have remained assured of their return on investment, even as the nature of PACS projects has continued its rise in complexity in the period 2004-2005.”

"We are delighted to receive this award, which underscores our commitment to provide customers with the appropriate support throughout the PACS implementation process,” said Juergen Timmermann, director services, Kodak's Health Group. "Our expertise in the field of services is recognized across the industry and our Professional Services portfolio as well as our proven implementation capabilities have been an important factor in securing a number of multi site contract awards in France, England, Scotland, Italy, Finland, and The Netherlands during the last 12 months.”
