Rogan-Delft BV (Veenendaal, The Netherlands), a developer of picture archiving and communications systems (PACS), is partnering with Beijing DHC Digital Technology Co., Ltd. More...
(Beijing, China). Both companies are currently working closely at Beijing Ji Shui Tan Hospital to install an advanced PACS with Rogan's unique redundant array of inexpensive servers (RAIS) technology.

Beijing DHC Digital Technology is the biggest hospital information system (HIS) vendor in China, and also one of the few Chinese software companies that achieved Capability Maturity Model Level 5 (CMM5) qualification. Rogan-Delft is the winner of the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Innovation.

Commenting on this strategic alliance, Mr. Xiangdong Xue, president of DHC, said, "DHC is dedicated from its start to provide the most cost-effective digital hospital information system, with rich local flavor, to Chinese hospitals. It goes without saying that the partnership with Rogan-Delft, a technical leader in the industry, will optimize the cost-performance ratio of our DHC/TrakCare HIS solution, and speed up the approach to international standard for our customers.”

Guido Geerts, president of Rogan-Delft, added, "As the earliest PACS company in this industry, Rogan-Delft has always demonstrated commitment to China. The newly built R&D and support center in Shanghai with its highly professional and enthusiastic team shows our confidence to develop PACS business further with local intelligence. The alliance with DHC is part of our long-term strategy to rapidly apply the most advanced PACS technology from Europe to Chinese hospitals, together with strong local IT [information technology] integrators, to benefit a huge population of patients and medical professionals.”

Rogan provides its customers with a full range of viewing, archiving, and connectivity systems, in full compliance with the communications standards that must be adhered to in current successful hospital information technology enterprises.

Rogan also developed the Everything OnLine (EOL) archive, multiple archive storage servers (MASS), and redundant array of inexpensive servers (RAIS) technology. The latest PACS innovation, Rogan OnLine XS, is an extremely fast and effective system for image transmission.

Rogan-Delft is a part of Delft Diagnostic Imaging.
