MR Patient Monitor

A new physiologic monitor combines a comprehensive array of features and accessories, including those specifically designed for pediatric and neonate patients, for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environments up to 3 Tesla.

"Veris offers our anesthesia, sedation, cardiac, and radiology customers what they have asked for--a reliable, full-featured monitor for all of their MR monitoring patients and strong support from Medrad's global field service and applications teams,” said Gary Bucciarelli, senior vice president for therapeutic resonance strategic business unit at Medrad.

Features of the monitor include large, color screens and a familiar user interface that allows rapid learning of the system. Five-lead ECG monitoring provide simultaneous display of up to six waveforms for efficient comparison. Specially designed accessories for adult, pediatric, and neonate patients give users the opportunity to monitor patients of all sizes and ages. The integrated tray is designed for cable management and accessory storage while providing additional workspace. Power is supplied by an AC direct wall connection or by an extended life battery.

The monitor is available in six configurations to meet specific user needs for anesthesia, sedation, cardiac MR, research, and basic patient monitoring. Medrad also offers Continuum, an MR-compatible infusion system, which delivers critical medications during MRI scans, in addition to the Spectris Solaris EP MR injection system, and an assortment of Leading Image MR surgical coils.
